DermaSweep combines the benefits of microdermabrasion with its unique wand, which features a compact brush that improves microcirculation and oxygenation. This safe, gentle treatment is ideal for most skin types, including those with highly sensitive skin or rosacea. The wand not only removes dead skin cells but also vacuums them away.

In addition, DermaSweep treatments incorporate unique infusion therapy. Applied to the skin post-treatment, these vitamin-rich serums promote nourishment and hydration.

Benefits of DermaSweep

Over time, UV exposure, pollution, diet, stress, and lifestyle habits can affect and damage the skin’s appearance. Furthermore, aging skin naturally produces less collagen and elastin. This results in fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, blemishes, and uneven skin tone and texture. DermaSweep helps combat the characteristics of aging skin by promoting circulation, oxygenation, and lymphatic drainage. Paired with targeted skin infusions, this synergistic treatment helps boost the production of collagen and elastin. As a result, clients notice firmer, youthful skin and a bright, brilliant complexion.

Beyond the benefits of traditional microdermabrasion – including a noninvasive treatment approach, quick 30-minute treatment sessions, and little to no downtime – DermaSweep offers solutions for a multitude of skin conditions:

  • Aging skin
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Uneven skin tone and texture
  • Acne-prone skin
  • Dry, oily, or sensitive skin
  • Rosacea

DermaSweep vs. Microdermabrasion

Exfoliation Approach

The major difference between DermaSweep and traditional microdermabrasion is the method of exfoliation. Microdermabrasion uses tiny bits of crystals or diamonds to gently scrub the top layer of skin cells. DermaSweep uses a finely compact brush with bristles, as well as a vacuum, to exfoliate and remove skin cells. DermaSweep further sets itself apart from similar treatments by offering adjustable intensity levels. This customized approach – which most microdermabrasion treatments don’t offer – allows those with more unique skin issues, such as highly sensitive skin or rosacea, to enjoy the benefits of exfoliation without the fear of irritation, discomfort, or pain.

Infusion Therapy

DermaSweep’s infusion therapy incorporates paraben-free solutions into its treatment to help target specific skincare concerns. Clients can choose from a variety of intensely moisturizing solutions that help improve pigmentation; dry, sensitive, and aging skin; fine lines and wrinkles; skin texture; and more. At DermaHealth, we offer the following infusions:

  • Vitamin C
  • Hyaluronic acid
  • Cucumber
  • Calming

While microdermabrasion and DermaSweep are both highly effective exfoliation treatments, many of our clients find DermaSweep’s gentler approach and unique infusion therapy to be a convenient, all-encompassing solution for their skincare needs.

Treatment

DermaSweep may effectively treat the face (including areas around the eyes), neck, chest, arms, elbows, and knees. At DermaHealth, we understand that every individual is unique. Prior to any procedure, a DermaHealth professional will consult with you to help create an effective treatment plan that accommodates your schedule, budget, and skincare needs. Most clients notice softer, smoother skin immediately after the first treatment. Treatment sessions may be repeated every two weeks depending on your skin type and condition.

Please note: Microdermabrasion and DermaSweep will NOT remove brown spots or sun damage from the skin. These types of issues are deep within the skin and require different treatment.
