Welcome to DermaHealth and thank you for entrusting your care to us. The following instructions will help you achieve the best results from your Juliet vaginal treatment. Please take a moment to review this information and go over any questions and/or concerns you may have with your provider or nurse.

Pre Treatment Instructions:

Avoid Ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxyn, fish oil or anything that can thin the blood for 5 days before procedure.
If you have open sores in the area to be treated, the treatment should be postponed until the sores are healed.
If you have a history of herpes, please let us know as we may pretreat you.
Pre shave the area.
Unable to treat during menstruation or if any current infection or abnormal gynecological exam within 6 months.

Post Treatment Instructions:

Things you might expect:
Some degree of clear to blood tinged drainage for 1-5 days. Have some sanitary napkins on hand.
Significant heat and/or tenderness to the treatment area for the first few days. Aloe Vera spray/gel and cold packs gently applied for 10 minutes every couple of hours can help with this. After the first day, some crusting can form and is normal to the area. Epionce’s Medical Barrier Crème or Renewal Calming Crème can be applied externally to speed healing.
The first several voids can be severely uncomfortable. It is helpful to go straight home after treatment before urinating and apply cool water to the outer vulva before urinating. (i.e., cool shower, cool mist from a clean sprayer, or a gentle squirt of cool water from a clean squirt bottle).

Avoid hot tubs, baths or swimming for a few days post-treatment.
Refrain from friction (vaginal sex) in the treatment area for at least 72 hours post treatment.
Over-the-counter pain medication is recommended if you experience minor pain/discomfort post-treatment.

Nutrition: healthful diet, added supplements CoQ10: 300 mg daily, Vitamin E 1,200 IU daily, Vitamin C 3,000 mg daily, B-complex daily. Neo40 (nitric oxide) 1-2 daily; helps heal and grow endothelial cells. Very Important to use!! *Note: Do not use mouthwash within an hour of taking nitric oxide as it can deactivate it.
No smoking (destroys endothelial cells we are trying to heal.)
